It's definitely true to say that you can't guarantee good weather in the good old British Summertime. What I've found the last few years is that spring and autumn are often kinder, and that was definitely the case for Maria & Conor's big day. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, which meant we could make the most of the coastal location of their reception venue in Seaburn. The previous wedding I'd photographed there had been quite the opposite and we were sheltering from the gales all day :)
It was a fantastic day, filled with family and laughter, my perfect kind of wedding as that's what they're all about.
Maria very kindly answered these questions for the blog:
Dress - I got my dress from Amore in Sunderland and the designer was Mark Lesley
Accessories - I got my jewellery off my Grandparents for my 21st
birthday and my shoes with matching bag were from Faith at Debenhams
Suits - The only thing Conor had to do was get his suits he got
them from a hire company in Washington
Which of your suppliers would you recommend? - We would recommend our cake lady she was amazing and the
cake was fab! She's called Rachel and her business is called Fairycakes of Fulwell
Honeymoon - We went to Tenerife and the weather was beautiful
Favourite memory from the day - We loved leaving the church everyone was cheering and
throwing confetti
Advice to other couples - We would say not to stress as everything comes together on
the day
