Heather & David were married at St. Mary's Church in Coxhoe, followed by a reception at the fantastic Lumley Castle. It's such an interesting venue and has plenty of scope for photos even on rainy days (which came in handy for us!!).
I'd met with Heather & David for their pre-wedding shoot a few months prior to the big day (included with all my album packages, and available as an extra too), and after they've seen the photos I had a great email from them which read "We love the photos! Thank you very much. It's really nice to get a sense
of what to expect for our wedding ones, so we are even more excited."
The vast majority of people feel a bit awkward having their photo taken, so it's good to know exactly how I'll work on the day so that you can relax and enjoy it.
Heather very kindly answered these questions for the blog:
Accessories - Shoes were the Rainbow Collection from John Lewis. The only jewellery I wore were some Whitby amber studs.
Suits - All
of the men's kilts and suits were also from Just Perfect, apart from
David's kilt which he had specially made in his mother's family tartan.
Which of your suppliers would you recommend? - Our flowers by Julie's Florist in Spennymoor. They were incredibly helpful, beautiful flowers, and reasonable prices. tel:01388812326. Also Classic Wedding Cars were brilliant!
Honeymoon - We are not going on honeymoon till Easter as I can't take time off work. We will be going to the Maldives.
Favourite memory from the day - For me it was the exchanging of our vows in the church and everyone
giving us a cheer when David spun me during our first dance. For David
it was it turning around and seeing me walk down the aisle. :)
Advice to other couples - Don't try to do too much at once. Plan to sort every element a bit at a time over a longer time period.
