My first wedding of 2014 took place at Durham Registry Office, followed by a reception at Derwent Manor and then on to The Lodge for the evening reception. Amanda and Mark had chosen to have an intimate wedding with 30 guests during the day, and Derwent Manor is a great venue for a smaller wedding as they have a good choice of rooms for the wedding breakfast.
March can throw all sorts at you on the weather front, indeed at one wedding last March we had snow! None of that this year though, just a bright and sunny day so no complaints here!
