They say that sometimes wedding planning can be stressful, and Catherine & Darren certainly had their share of issues to deal with in the run up to the wedding. Their original church was closed down, the room they were using for their meal had to be changed, and at their wedding rehearsal they found out that the church ceiling was being painted and was likely to be unfinished on the day! They handled it all really well, and when we arrived at the church on the morning of the wedding the priest told us that the painter had worked all night to get the work finished, and everything looked perfect.
Catherine and Darren had chosen the Vermont Hotel for their reception, and it'd been refurbished since we were there last. We were really pleased to see that they've now made the most of the fantastic views from the roof of the hotel, with a bar and seating for the guests - it's definitely one of the best views of the Quayside you're likely to get!
Everyone had a brilliant day, and it just goes to show that issues can arise during wedding planning, but even if things don't go to plan so long as you end up married on the day and your friends & family are there to share it with you, then you will have an amazing day.
