Something I often say to couples is that every wedding is hugely different, and it's all about the people who are there and the personal touches. Emma & Dave were married at Wynyard Hall, and they really made the day special - Emma loves penguins having studied them as part of her degree and I thought the penguin garter, table names, and also getting every guest to draw a penguin as part of their RSVP was a great idea!
Yet again the weather was great and we were able to make good use of the grounds. Wynyard has a few rooms to choose from for each part of the wedding day, all with a different character and feel to them. Emma & Dave chose the Mirror Room for their ceremony, and had their meal & evening reception in the Conservatory.

Wedding date - 2nd June 2013
Venue - Wynyard Hall
Dress - Abigail's Collection in Colchester - the most amazing bridal shop that was well worth travelling the 275 miles to! The dress was Mon Cheri.
Accessories - Jewellery
was a combination of something from everybody - my late Grandma's ring,
pearls borrowed from mum and bracelet a wedding present from Dave. Shoes - a bargain on the internet!
Suits - Slaters in Newcastle.
Which of your suppliers would you recommend? - Everyone
who was involved was fantastic! Definitely Funky Flower Company, Posh Chair Covers & Bows, and the pianist we had Michael Mulroy. Oh and the photographer ;-)
Honeymoon - Thailand and the Maldives - it was AMAZING!
Favourite memory from the day - Walking
back down the aisle as husband and wife, and the moment of realisation when people worked out what the song was!
Advice to other couples - Enjoy
every moment of the planning. There's no reason it should be stressful.
We had practically zero stress, because we were well organised and made
sure it was fun. Also making stationery is a great way to save money -
get your
friends/bridesmaids to help!
