Deborah & Chris were married at the gorgeous Redworth Hall at the start of May. They'd chosen our Diamond Package so we'd had a pre-wedding photoshoot a few months before the big day. We always find this helps to settle any nerves people may have about being in front of the camera. Our style is relaxed and the poses are natural, and one of the most important things to us is that people enjoy having their photos taken on their wedding day.
The grounds at Redworth are great, with our favourite location for photos being the old folly. It's great to be able to get away on our own with the bride & groom for the photos of the two of them together, as it's easier for them to relax and also gives them some time on their own to chat and reflect on the day so far.
Both the wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast were held in the Kelvington Suite, and the evening reception in the Great Hall. Deborah and Chris wanted an intimate wedding, so they had 26 guests during the day with many more guests coming to the evening do. They had a fantastic day and we wish them all the best for a wonderful future together.
Deborah looked beautiful, we love this shot of Deborah and Chris as they made their vows
The deep green of the ivy by the hotel entrance really showed off the purple in Deborah's bouquet
It's important to us that we also photograph the guests at each wedding, after all they're the nearest and dearest to the happy couple, and it's great for the couple to look back at the photos and see people having a chat and see who was talking to who on the day
A shot taken as we walked towards the old folly
The old folly - perfect for the formal shots
A natural informal shot taken by Alison as I photographed the rings - some of the best photos are those where the couple don't realise they're being photographed, but they're sometimes the hardest to get!
Deborah's dad Jeff making his speech at the wedding breakfast, the light coming through the window illuminated Deborah perfectly
The start to what we're sure what a fun and lively evening reception - brilliant!
