Rebecca and Stephen were married in November over in the Lake District. This was our last wedding in Cumbria this year, and we really enjoyed the day. A few days earlier the county had been hit by flooding, so we weren't able to use a nearby pier for the photographs as we'd planned (as it was 3 feet underwater!!), but the great thing about Cumbria is that there's no shortage of spectacular scenery. One of the most important characteristics that any good wedding photographer should have is to be flexible, as very rarely does a wedding day run completely to schedule and with no hiccups. We always have a few back up plan locations in mind to make sure that the photography runs smoothly and that our couples enjoy having their photographs taken.
The marriage took place at Dearham Methodist Chapel, and after the ceremony Rebecca & Stephen's beautiful little girl Amelia was baptised. We then headed back through to The Borrowdale Hotel for the wedding reception.
Capturing the details is so important, we appreciate that a lot of time goes in to choosing the perfect shoes, jewellery and of course the dress!
