We really enjoyed meeting Kelly & Stuart when they came to see us at the end of last year, they'd struggled to find photographers they were happy with, and we were thrilled that they chose us to cover their wedding. We've worked at The Rampsbeck Country House Hotel a few times before, and think it's a superb venue in an awesome location on the shores of Lake Ullswater.
Our day started at Kelly & Stuart's home covering the bridal preparations, and all was calm and organised and everyone was able to enjoy the build up to such a special day. The ceremony was beautiful, and Kelly looked absolutely stunning in her dress. We were lucky with the weather and even drove down to a pier by the lake for a few photographs.
We then moved on to The Shap Wells Hotel for the evening reception and first dance as Kelly & Stuart had booked our Gold Package.
This was a really fantastic wedding to photograph and Kelly & Stuart were an absolute joy to work with. Hopefully we'll return to The Rampsbeck soon :-)

We use flash as little as possible, using the available light to create the photograph as it adds depth to an image and tells much more of a story
