I'm attending a two day seminar in Edinburgh this weekend, hosted by two of the most influential wedding photographers in the world today - Jeff Ascough & Joe Buissink. They were voted as two of the top five wedding photographers in the world by the BBC, and appeared alongside each other in American Photo's inaugural list of the top ten wedding photographers in the world.
We were lucky enough to get places for Jeff's seminar at the Focus On Imaging event earlier this year, and now having two days with such inspirational photographers will be superb.
Joe’s name is synonymous with celebrity wedding photography having photographed the weddings of many A-list celebrities including Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Hilary Swank. Jeff is an international Ambassador for Canon, and one of the UK’s most in-demand speakers.
After the seminar I'll report back and let you know how it went. We love photographing weddings, and want to take our photography to the next level and to hopefully one day reach the high standard of photography which Joe & Jeff are capable of. We invested in a lot of new equipment last year - I shoot with a Canon 5DMkII and Alison uses a Canon 7D, which we are extremely impressed by and are both cameras which Jeff has rated highly.Labels: Canon, Jeff Ascough, Joe Buissink
